Love
True love heals the wounds that time alone cannot erase.
How we live it
We accompany every woman and every child with kindness, without judgement, over the long term.
In 1993, Burundi was struck by a devastating war. In 2016, in Busoro, Aline Ndayishimiye decided to act. Femme d'Impact+ was born in the baraza of her home, around 12 women. Today, more than 600.

Our intervention model: build women's socio-economic capacities so they become key agents of community recovery.
Advance women's financial inclusion through structured capacity-building programs and initiatives that support their children's schooling.
Femme d'Impact+ aims to strengthen the socio-economic power of women and children by advancing their financial inclusion, their autonomy, and by fostering lasting shifts in community mindsets.
Here is where we focus โ pick an area to see what we put in place, then open the program to see the projects it powers.

In Busoro we fight hunger-driven school dropout โ already down 40% thanks to our school canteens and awareness work โ and protect children exposed to violence through a safe educational centre.
Our field presence extends from Bujumbura Mairie to Rumonge, through Bujumbura Rural, Bubanza and Mwaro. Hover the map to explore each province.
Aline Ndayishimiye is born into a modest family. Orphaned, she is raised by her grandparents in an overcrowded home.

A devastating war leaves behind extreme poverty and a deeply weakened society.

Aline earns a Bachelor's in Arts and Sciences specialising in counselling and community development. She builds a 21-year banking career.

Settled in Busoro, Aline gathers 12 women in the baraza of her home. The association is born, carrying the mission of restoring dignity and autonomy.

On 14 February, the school canteen opens in partnership with Busoro primary school. 100 children receive a hot meal every day.

The association supports over 600 financially independent women and 200 children receiving daily meals.

Every contribution strengthens programs that transform lives for the long term.
