About

A Burundian movement for the autonomy of women and children.

In 1993, Burundi was struck by a devastating war. In 2016, in Busoro, Aline Ndayishimiye decided to act. Femme d'Impact+ was born in the baraza of her home, around 12 women. Today, more than 600.

Vision

A world where every woman becomes a key actor in her community's recovery.

Our intervention model: build women's socio-economic capacities so they become key agents of community recovery.

Mission

Advance women's financial inclusion through structured capacity-building programs and initiatives that support their children's schooling.

Our objectives

Femme d'Impact+ aims to strengthen the socio-economic power of women and children by advancing their financial inclusion, their autonomy, and by fostering lasting shifts in community mindsets.

Our values

Three principles that guide every decision.

01

Love

True love heals the wounds that time alone cannot erase.

How we live it

We accompany every woman and every child with kindness, without judgement, over the long term.

02

Integrity

Exemplary transparency in our finances, partnerships and decisions.

How we live it

Published accounts, documented decisions, every euro traced to the field.

03

Compassion

Every beneficiary, whatever their background or beliefs, finds a space to flourish.

How we live it

No conditions of origin, religion or status. Every person counts.
